The Department of Environment of Antigua and Barbuda is providing access to up-to-date high-quality data and information via the National Environmental Data and Information System (NEIS) and Natural Resources Inventory (NRI).
The NEIS is a platform to collect, analyse and learn about the changing factors of the country´s environment. To carry out its tasks, the NEIS uses the collection of Reports, Indicators, MEAs and Organisations.
NEIS has a wide collection of reports that it allows its users to utilize. These reports are linked to several Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) and Organisations that help to strengthen their validity.
Through the NEIS, users can also access the Natural Resources Inventory (NRI), a web-based application and platform for developing geospatial information systems (GIS) and for deploying spatial data infrastructures (SDI).
To learn more about how it works and the reason behind its creation, The Department of Environment of Antigua and Barbuda has created a documentary which can be accessed HERE.
